What we did on Easter Vacation (aka Spring
break)
Joe, myself and the boys made a trip to
Albany to help Hospice patient Lorinda with
her companion Molly.  Molly is a 14 year old
Pomeranian mix who needed a little help
losing her winter coat.  We also gave her anal
glands a little expressing - thank you Joey for
cleverly capturing the action!  Now Molly is
ready for spring with her new hair-do.  Joey
and Jacob also brought Molly some dog food
and pee pads (since dogs can't have
chocolate Easter eggs!) We were glad to be
able to help Lorinda and Molly and look
forward to seeing them whenever they need in
the future.

Below are pictures of our visit!  Check out the
before and after pictures of Molly!
Before
After
This is a new section dedicated to what we do in the community such
as helping others, promoting the treatment of animals, general
awareness, etc.
Happy 8th Birthday to Brianna Warner of
Johnstown.
Instead of asking for birthday presents, she
had her guests bring things for the rescue
such as paper towels, bleach, cat and dog
food, etc.
In return, we brought some of our "party
animals" to the occasion. A good time was
had by all.
Thanks again to the Warners and their
guests for their generosity!!!
Helping Paws
Rescue has been
invited to
participate in an
event at the
Galway Library.
We are still
working out the
details, but we
are very excited
to do a program
on rescued
animals, what we
do and why we're
here!

Stay tuned for
when this will take
place!
Here's Brianna and her family with the donated
items!
Here's Cinnamon, the rescue's goat, "working" the
crowd!
This is Casisus and Carin.  They were recently
returned to the rescue due to allergies.  They came
along to the party!
Here's volunteer Sandy talking with one of the party
guest.  The two kittens were adopted over the
weekend to families that attended this party!  YEA!!!
