Buddy is a mix of possibly Chow,
Akita, or Norwegian Elkhound (?).
Buddy is about 2 years old and full
of life.  He is a real cutey with one
ear up and one down with a curled
tail.  Buddy is a medium sized dog
at around 40 pounds.  He was
surrendered because his previous
owner did not have the time Buddy
and left tied outside on his own.
Buddy is now mostly housebroken,
but does have some accidents.  He
is still learning basic manners (sit,
come, etc).  He's come a long way
since coming to the rescue and
with someone able to spend more
time with him on a daily basis, he
will do even better.  Buddy is
lovable and good with kids and
other dogs, but  NO CATS!
Lenny is an adult Bull Terrier
Mix who is FULL of life.
LOVES people, good with a
goofball whose name should
be Houdini as he is an
escape artist - if you have a
fenced yard it needs to be 6'
or higher to contain him.
Gorgeous color & markings.
Scout is a 3 year old neutered Jack Russell
Terrier.  Scout gets along with other dogs,
but is sometimes "barky" with big dogs.  He
is somewhat possessive of his food and
toys and will warn if another dog or person
is too close to his "stuff".  He loves to go
on car rides and is very well house trained.

Scout is very easy to walk and likes to
chase his tennis ball.  He does NOT like
cats or small animals of any kind.  Scout is
very sweet and wants an active family to
exercise and play with him.  He wants
someone to play with him and give him lots
of love and attention.
Benson is an eight (8) month
Terrier.  He is neutered and
Benson loves other dogs, kids
and people in general.  Being
a terrier, Benson is very
curious (but not in a mean
way) about small animals.  He
is crate trained and house
broken.  Benson has a lot of
spirit and is extremely fast off
leash!  Proper fencing is
highly recommended!!
This is Zeus.  He is an 8 month old
American Stafford mix.  Zeus already
weighs 60 lbs.  He will probably grow to
be an 80 lb. adult.  Zeus is very much a
puppy, but is very willing to learn.  He is
very strong but is very goofy when he
jumps around to play!
Zeus is neuterd and up to date on
vaccines and is crate trained.  He is
very curious with cats and since being
at the rescue has been very good with
other dogs and cats.

This is Maximus.  He is a Bulldog
Boxer mix.  He is brother to Milo
pictured below.  They came to the
Rescue together when their owner
moved south and couldn't take
them.  He is pretty spunky because
he spent most of his day in a crate,
but is happy now to have play time.
Maximus ignores the cats and
seems to do well with other dogs
and kids.

This is
Milo.  He is a 5 year old
Bulldog Boxer mix.  Milo came in
with his brother Maximus pictured
above.  Milo loves attention and so
far likes kids and doesn't really
bother with the cats.  In his former
life, he was confined to a kennel,
inside and outside.  Since he's been
here it appears that he is house
trained.  Milo needs some work
learning to walk on a leash..but his
willingness to please will make this
an easy task.
